After 2 cancellations, the "What's Hot Car and Bike Show" kicked off with fanfare, excitement and dramatization on Providenciales, TCI.

Bad weather in December 2006 forced the events handlers to postpone the eagerly awaited, first of its kind in Turks & Caicos, glitz and glamour event for the material minded and guys with disposable income (by TCI standards). The WIV Cable TV parking lot quickly became inadequate to contain the horde of people gathering to catch a glimpse of massive chrome rims, high end stereo and DVD systems, tricked-out exteriors, flashy muscle bikes and engine compartments that were nearly as clean as a toddler's bottom.

Angie Toussaint, one of the event's organisers, promised a second event at a larger location by summer this year. The heat is on... who will step up to the plate and show "what's hot" in the Turks and Caicos this summer?
