THE TURKS & CAICOS ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE MANAGERS

The Turks and Caicos Association of Insurance Managers (“TC-AIM”) was registered in its present name on 5th August, 2003, TCI Registration No.9004, as a not-for-profit association. It had previously operated under the name “Association of Insurance Managers” when originally registered on 11th day of January, 2000 (Reg’d No. 7614).

TC-AIM’s main objectives are:

• To function as a not–for-profit organization.

• To protect the interests of the domestic and offshore insurance industries in the Turks and Caicos Islands. (“TCI”).

• To liaise with the TCI government and/or any association or body on matters affecting the insurance industry in general and the TCI Offshore Insurance Industry in particular.

• To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information between members.

• To help promote goodwill in the Turks and Caicos business community and an understanding of the role of the offshore insurance industry within the islands.

• To provide a unified approach to problems and opportunities that may be of concern to the Association’s members.

• To develop, encourage and promote any endeavours which will benefit or advance the TCI’s offshore insurance industry and

• To promote and encourage members’ formulation or adoption of and adherence to an appropriate code of conduct and practice.
